Brilliant Polymers wins IFCA Star Award 2021

Brilliant Polymers has won a prestigious IFCA Star Award for its product S745 in the ‘Innovation’ category. This is the 5th consecutive year that the company has won an IFCA Star Award.

The IFCA Award Ceremony and IFCA-Koelnmesse Seminar were held in Pragati Maidan, Delhi on 3 December 2021. Several industry experts spoke about the latest developments in the packaging industry and Pravin Nadgoundi of Brilliant Polymers presented on the topical issues of food safety and sustainability.

Brilliant S745 is innovative single component moisture curing solvent-free adhesive and has been designed for an extremely fast cure in laminates while maintaining user-friendly characteristics. It can be used for laminations involving paper or board and has applications in flexible packaging, graphic arts and carton manufacturing.

Brilliant Polymers has been featured in an article in leading industry magazine, Packaging South Asia.  The article covers Brilliant Polymers’ views on the latest trends, including:
– Raw Material pressures faced by the laminating adhesives industry
– Brilliant’s innovative Solvent Free solutions such as our new flagship product S641/S400.

These are the first steps toward sustainability as there is no use of solvent and they also offer a 50% saving compared to conventional solvent based systems at a time when the industry is struggling under unprecedented cost pressures.

 

COVID related CSR initiatives

Auto Ambulance Project – Ambernath

The first phase of auto ambulance project comprising of 25 auto rickshaws has commenced in Ambernath city and has received a very good response from citizens, the police department and all the other stakeholders. The project has also received  vast appreciation and coverage in regional as well as national print and broadcast media along with social media. This has created awareness about the project and helped to achieve our goal of providing the timely help for the needy.

Donation of oxygen concentrators & ventilators at Ambernath

The company has completed the contribution and distribution of 12 oxygen concentrators and 2 ventilators to the DCH facility established at Ambernath Dental College for the treatment of Covid Patients. The life-support ventilators provide both invasive and non-invasive options. This contribution will help the hospital for oxygen support for the patients suffering from mild to critical Covid cases. 

Distribution of Family Essential Kits (FEK)

Family Essential Kits consisting of the daily food items and other necessary personal hygiene items have been distributed in the adjoining areas of the city. The FEK kits are also distributed to underprivileged blind people living in the special residential colony located at Vangani.

Donation for oxygen manufacturing plant at Ambernath

The company has contributed towards setting up an oxygen plant in the area of the DCH facility established at Ambernath Dental College. The work of the plant is in process and is expected to be completed soon, the plant will be able to assist the oxygen requirement of local hospitals.
